Chris Brownbill
Chris started recording around 2006 on the Sunshine Coast and eventually relocated to Brisbane to obtain a Diploma and to start freelancing regularly. When he was 20 he opened Sun Distortion which was a live music venue which doubled as a recording studio and art gallery. Around the time this space closed its doors he was selected to attend an engineering workshop/seminar in France with Steve Albini and Greg Norman. He returned to experiment with Undergrounds first form in 2015 which was based in West End. He is now here every day of the week either tracking bands or as a technical staff. Chris has recorded hundreds of bands within the independent music community and was also in the band Idylls.
Mark Perry
Starting out in local band The Fevered, Mark found his sea legs running a small studio and is now a part time recording engineer. This is shared with his other undying passion, electric motor repair and maintenance.
Nathan Kearney
Nathan used to intern here and eventually came to running sessions, however he now lives in the Gippsland where he fixes boats and launders money a la Marty Byrde. He routinely hosts radio shows and has played in The Telephones, Papercuts, Princest, Gargoyle Arctic Oil, Oh Dae Su, Gonzovillian and Amaringo.
